Acting as a guide of a new member means you commit to: 

1. 1. Having a minimum of 2 Zoom calls with them in the first 60 days of their membership to ensure they understand how to get the most out of the EBC.  We will send you a checklist of things to discuss on these calls;
   2. Assist them in getting to know other EBC members, i.e. by making introductions or getting them on the EBC private Facebook group or collaboration calls; and
   3. Encourage them to attend live events, especially when you are also attending, to assist them to connect  with other members and learn EBC norms and protocols.
   4. Keeping in touch with them periodically to ensure if they become disengaged from the EBC that they are welcomed and encouraged back.

• Once the member you are guiding has been a member for 6 months, you will make 12.5% guide commission, on top of the 12.5% you get if you sponsored members.  This is a lifetime commission for as long as you both remain members and will be paid retroactively from the date they joined. Should your guided member leave within the first 6 months you will not receive commission.

2. To Support and encourage them in staying engaged.

1. If you have not succeeded in meeting with the new member within 30 days of their joining, then we will reach out to the new member to confirm what’s happening.  At this point the new EBC member may be assigned to another guide, either if they request it, or you (the guide) have not had enough time to meet with them.
2. The commission will be transferred to the new guide.
3. In the case you have been guiding the new member for 6 months, but can’t continue, we will pay you the commission for that year, but future commissions will be paid to the new guide.

1. We will inform you if a member you are guiding becomes disengaged.
2. Reach out to your disengaged sponsored member and encourage them to join a call – see full list of options below.
3. Our EBC Management team can assist you, as well as the EBC Member Engagement committee.
4. If ultimately the sponsored member leaves before 6 months, – then no guide affiliate commission will be paid, if they leave after 6 months, then the guide commission will be paid up to the point they leave.

• In the meantime you will get an email 2 times a month detailing this info, you can also request this email anytime you want.

1. Please reach out to the disengaged member and find what their concern is or why they are disengaged.  Sometimes a large project means a member doesn’t fully engage for a few months, but they intended to return to participate in the EBC community.  Please let them know that the EBC is here to support them on large projects and launches, so there is great value in engaging when you have a lot going on.
2. Encourage them to register for at lease one retreat in the next year, so they can get to know other members better and experience the benefits of the EBC and the EBC community.
3. Remind them that creating JV’s with other members is a great way to get support behind their projects.
4. Get them to seek interviews through the membership to support the projects they’re working
5. Share the value of connecting on the various Calls that members can participate in – Join a Call – Evolutionary Business Council (ebcouncil.com)
6. Keep in contact with the member you are guiding at least once a quarter to encourage them to stay engaged in the EBC community.
7. Connect them to other members in their area or online.
8. Our EBC Management team can help with that, as well as the EBC Member Engagement committee.

• If the member comes back thanks to you,  we will re-instate your commission. If the member comes because someone else convinced them to, the new sponsor will have the opportunity to become their guide and get the commission.

1. You must be a member of the Envoy Committee or New Member On-boarding and Engagement Committee if you wish to be assigned as a guide for someone you did not sponsor.
2. To join one of the above committees, you must be a highly engaged  member who has already significantly contributed to the EBC by leading or serving on another committee, serving on the Board or Wisdom Council, or participating in the Certified Master Trainer Program.

• You will get paid once the members you are guiding have completed 6 months as active members and every 6 months thereafter.

1. Yes, you don’t have to be a guide if you don’t have the time, or for any other reason. You can always change later and opt to be the guide on future members you sponsor.
2. When you choose not to be the guide, the guide commission will be paid to the person guiding the new referral.  

1. Yes, you just have to let us know, and we’ll assign a guide for the new EBC members you bring in that you do not wish to be the guide for.
2. We can reach out to you as your referrals apply, to check if you would like to be the guide for that new member.
