Gratitude Program frequently asked questions

For Sponsors

What does it mean to be a sponsor?
  1. As soon as you join the EBC, you are eligible to sponsor other members and you may act as the guide for members you sponsor.
  2. Sponsoring a member means that you verify that they meet the criteria for membership and that they have signed up using your affiliate link or otherwise verified that you are their sponsor. Guiding is explained here
What are my benefits as a sponsor?
  1. You get a commission every 6 months for as long as you and the member you sponsor remain members.
  2. You get to assist in growing the EBC by expanding its vibrant community.
  3. You get to assist your EBC Community in our goal to evolutionize the lives of 1.2 billion people.
What are my responsibilities as a sponsor?
  • In this program you choose your own responsibilities as an affiliate. We give you the tools, and you are in charge of promotion, sharing and inviting qualified people to join.
What happens if I can't maintain my responsibilities as an affiliate?
  • Nothing. You don’t have to worry if you can’t bring in new people to the EBC or if you don’t have time to promote your affiliate links. You will still receive lifetime commissions on those you have already sponsored.
What happens if one of my sponsored members becomes disengaged or leaves?

You will be notified if your sponsored member becomes disengaged.  We encourage you to reach out to them and encourage them to join a call, attend a live informal meeting or register for a retreat.  Our EBC Management team can help you if needed, as well as the EBC Member Engagement committee.

How to check my balance for sponsor affiliate commissions?
  1. Log in to your EBC member area and click on Gratitude Program in right side menu.
  2. In your affiliate area page you will find different tools to check this, like statistics, graphs, referrals and visits.
  3. Check this page (Sponsor Guidebook) for a more in-depth explanation on how to use the different tools available to you as a sponsor.
What else can I do to help members to re-engage?
  1. Please reach out to the disengaged member and find what their concern is or why they are disengaged.  Sometimes a large project means a member doesn’t fully engage for a few months, but they intended to return to participate in the EBC community.  Please let them know that the EBC is here to support them on large projects and launches, so there is great value in engaging when you have a lot going on.
  2. Encourage them to register for at lease one retreat in the next year, so they can get to know other members better and experience the benefits of the EBC and the EBC community.
  3. Remind them that creating JV’s with other members is a great way to get support behind their projects.
  4. Get them to seek interviews through the membership to support the projects they’re working.
  5. Share the value of connecting on the various Calls that members can participate in – Join a Call – Evolutionary Business Council (ebcouncil.com)
  6. Feel free to keep in contact with the member you have sponsored periodically to encourage them to stay engaged in the EBC community.
  7. Connect them to other members in their area or online.
  8. Our EBC Management team can help with that, as well as the EBC Member Engagement committee
What happens if one of the members I sponsored leaves and then comes back?

If the member comes back thanks to you,  we will re-instate your commission. If the member comes because someone else convinced them to, the new sponsor will get the commission.

Is this going to generate any extra expense for me as a member?

No, on the contrary, this is our way to give back to you for supporting and being a member of the Evolutionary Business Council. You will receive a lifetime commission of 12.5% of their membership dues for as long as you both remain members.

How often I’m I going to get paid?

You will get paid once the members you are guiding have completed a year as active members.

For Guides

What does it mean to be a guide?

Acting as a guide of a new member means you commit to:

    1. Having a minimum of 2 Zoom calls with them in the first 60 days of their membership to ensure they understand how to get the most out of the EBC.  We will send you a checklist of things to discuss on these calls;
    2. Assist them in getting to know other EBC members, i.e. by making introductions or getting them on the EBC private Facebook group or collaboration calls; and
    3. Encourage them to attend live events, especially when you are also attending, to assist them to connect  with other members and learn EBC norms and protocols.
    4. Keeping in touch with them periodically to ensure if they become disengaged from the EBC that they are welcomed and encouraged back.
What are my benefits as a guide?
  • Once the member you are guiding has been a member for 6 months, you will make 12.5% guide commission, on top of the 12.5% you get if you sponsored members.  This is a lifetime commission for as long as you both remain members and will be paid retroactively from the date they joined. Should your guided member leave within the first 6 months you will not receive commission.

What happens if I can't fulfil my responsibilities as a guide?
  1. If you have not succeeded in meeting with the new member within 30 days of their joining, then we will reach out to the new member to confirm what’s happening.  At this point the new EBC member may be assigned to another guide, either if they request it, or you (the guide) have not had enough time to meet with them.
  2. The commission will be transferred to the new guide.
  3. In the case you have been guiding the new member for 6 months, but can’t continue, we will pay you the commission for that year, but future commissions will be paid to the new guide.

  1. We will inform you if a member you are guiding becomes disengaged.
  2. Reach out to your disengaged sponsored member and encourage them to join a call – see full list of options below.

How do I become a guide for members I have not sponsored?

Can I choose not to be a guide?
  1. Yes, you don’t have to be a guide if you don’t have the time, or for any other reason. You can always change later and opt to be the guide on future members you sponsor.
  2. When you choose not to be the guide, the guide commission will be paid to the person guiding the new referral.
Can I choose to be a guide for some of my affiliates and not for others?
  1. Yes, you just have to let us know, and we’ll assign a guide for the new EBC members you bring in that you do not wish to be the guide for.
  2. We can reach out to you as your referrals apply, to check if you would like to be the guide for that new member.
