HARMONIZING DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

The purpose of the Harmonizing Diversity and Inclusion Action Committee for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is to educate and raise awareness within the EBC membership of the immense value of different worldviews, processes and perspectives.

Allowing EBC members a safe inclusive place of discovery to learn similar and differing viewpoints will create an environment where all voices can be heard and valued – giving all members an opportunity to share their unique brilliance to serve the EBC and the world.

This committee will work together with EBC leadership to cultivate a “Culture of Learning, Acceptance and Celebration” where people can feel safe to not know everything, to learn about and incorporate different worldviews, and to become more aware of why these are often ignored and silenced.

Harmonizing Diversity and Inclusion will be the driving force in addressing racism and unconscious bias, inequality, inequity, and marginalization while “walking the talk” and being positive models of the many practical, social, and strategic advantages of doing inclusion right. As this awareness and commitment permeates throughout the EBC, membership will become extremely attractive to the Global Evolutionary Leaders the EBC wants to attract now and into the future. This environment will allow the EBC to reach its goal of becoming a world leader with a truly global worldview, and achieve global representation among its membership.
