EBC Leadership Day Call, Jan 16

The EBC Board and EBC Wisdom Council are hosting an annual leadership meeting to do visioning for the EBC and to choose the new Board Members for the next term. This meeting will be on January 16th before the EBC annual retreat in San Antonio and will involve the most senior members of the EBC. We are holding a Zoom session for those who are unable to make it in person but would still like to attend. This meeting will run from 8:30 AM Jan 16th to 3 PM with a break before the EBC retreat starts in the evening.

Please decide if you’d like to be considered for one of the two Board Positions that are opening up.  Board Posting is three years, after which time you are welcome to step onto the other leadership branch of the EBC,  the Wisdom Council. The commitment is one to 1.5 hours per month.  Our current policy for selecting Board members is listed below

Regardless of whether you are interested in stepping onto the EBC Board, we’d like to invite you to be part of this day to assist with visioning and support the leadership of the EBC.

Here are our current criteria (over and above membership criteria) for consideration for the Board:

1. You have demonstrated leadership within the organization and role model our value.
2. You have a highly successful business in the transformational space, as evidenced by having established systems, sales funnels, team support and a demonstrated track record of students who’ve achieved significant success
3. You have significant influence with a following of at least 50,000 people
4. Full involvement as a full member for 12 months prior to being a Board member

We also have a current policy to consider diversity when making board appointment decisions, including geographic, brand diversity and demographic diversity.
