As many of you may know, Diversity and Inclusion are a priority for the EBC.

To that end, we are exploring the possibility of creating Affinity Groups.

Affinity Groups are identity-specific groups. It can be extremely helpful to have identity-specific spaces for folks to talk, share concerns and support each other – with the goal of assisting with broader inclusion efforts.

The intention of these Affinity Groups is three-fold:

• To provide support.
• To provide a safer space for conversation or a space for deeper conversation.
• To serve as an incubator for professional development for the EBC – to help strengthen their diversity and inclusion efforts

These calls are for EBC & EBI members who are either: 

• EBC Español (for our Spanish Speaking Members)
• EBC – LGBTQ
• EBC – People of Colour
